It was a joy to travel to Targu Mures in beautiful Transylvania to perform 3 ‘mini concertos’ with the excellent State Symphony Orchestra conducted by my friends Vlad Maistorovici. We performed Vlad’s colorful Concerto Transylvania, Mark Anthony Turnage’s lyrical Rumanian Raphsody, and Bartok’s Romanian Folkdances, in the really gorgeous Palace of culture.
