Gisterenavond brachten we een eerbetoon aan Vladimir ‘Vlady’ Mendelssohn: een goede vriend van vele musici op het podium. Na het ‘Forellenkwartet’ – een van de lievelingsstukken van Vlady – spatten de vonken eraf bij de “Fantasie-ouverture: Romeo en Julia” van Tsjaikovski! Wat een prachtig arrangement voor strijksextet heeft Vladimir Mendelssohn daarvoor gemaakt. Het concert slot af met zijn lievelingsstuk ‘Marietta’s Lied’! Een avond om niet te vergeten.
