Ensemble 150 Amsterdam debut

Our brand new Ensemble 150 – a collective of adventurous, like minded minds as well as great friends, was formed in the unusual year 2020 in and around the Studio 150 Bethlehemkerk in Amsterdam, where we had the chance to make music and create streamings in those uncertain months.  The ensemble stands for colorful, adventurous performances of much loved masterpieces, and gives lots of space for new music and surprising and unique combinations. We made our Amsterdam debut at the Zomer in de Beurs festival on June 30 – this was a very happy evening, with besides our ‘signature’ Schubert Trout Quintet, music by Mahler, Schnittke, Tchaikowsky, Piazzolla and Vladimir Mendelssohn.

We also performed a few times on Dutch radio in the last month, with presenter Hans Haffmans introducing us as ‘this amazing ensemble of super – hyper soloists’ 😍🙏
