Sibelius Competition Jury

Leaving Helsinki after 2 wonderful weeks. Big congrats to Inmo Yang for winning the Sibelius Competition, and to all the fantastic laureates & finalists! What a wonderfully inspiring 2 weeks it have been, and WHAT an AMAZING level, so so many stunning performances and more than a few golden, magic moments. A big shout out to the incredible team behind this great competition, what a hugely impressive event this was, from the first rounds at The Sibelius Academy,to the finals at the great Musiikkitalo with fantastic playing by the Radion sinfoniaorkesteri & Helsinki Philharmonic. It has been a pleasure and an honor being a part of this truly dedicated, passionate, warm hearted jury chaired by one and only Sakari Oramo. I’ll miss you guys, the Helsinki spirit and the wash of violin brilliance. Time to do some serious practice!! 🙏
