I teach a small class at the Royal College of Music in London and love going there to work with my class, which in the last few years has consisted of students from Malaysia, Spain, the USA, Germany, Finlandm Sweden, Slovenia, England and Wales. The school has a great vibe, and attracts some very talented young musicians from all over the world.
In May the Stiftfestival organises the Stift Musical Encounters, a mix of instrumental Masterclasses and side-by-side chamber music with a faculty of international soloists and chamber musicians, in the beautiful countryside of Twente, Netherlands. I warmly recommend this course for it‘s atmosphere, informality and intensity.. The SME 2022 will be from 3-8 May, the application deadline. 15 March. More info
Each summer I teach a Masterclass in beautiful Cividale del Friulli, not far from Udine in the north-east of Italy. This is a perfect place for an intensive course with plenty of performance opportunities, in a gorgeous setting. The dates for 2022 are 8-14 August.
