Alberto and I met at the Kuhmo Festival some years ago and discovered a shared love for the transparent, lyrical and colourful repertoire for violin and guitar. We recorded our first disc together for the Viennese label Orlando Records in January ’15 and it is now available to buy!
The programme we often perform is something like this, and indeed that’s the repertoire on the record. It’s a vivid virtuosic and fun programme, full of contrasts and it highlights the lovely and relatively unknown repertoire for these two instruments.
