It was eally exciting to play last week Maxim Shalygin’s wildly original & colorful Violin Concerto, for violin and 114 percussion instruments (!) with the terrific Shapeshift Ensemble with the composer conducting! Thank you ClassicalNOW and Konstantyn Napolov for making this happen. Last night new, live music was well and truly, irrepressibly alive and kicking, with an amazing positive energy from everyone! Wonderful to be a part of it. It was also my debut on the rather powerful White Noise Pedal (fun!!!)
