Stift Musical Encounters, May 2021

I’m extremely happy that the SME, Stift Musical Encounters, that had to be cancelled last year, will be happening this year, from 4-9 May! A mix of individual lessons and intensive side-by-side chamber music with the great international faculty, over 6 days at idyllic Stift, the course offers several concert opportunities, informal chamber music sessions in the 15th century Stiftkerk and lots of time for intensive rehearsing. Mornings are dedicated to individual lessons and after lunch the focus moves to rehearsing together with the faculty, with the repertoire this year including the Spohr Nonet, Dvorak Quintet op 77, the Trout, Shostakowitch Quintet, Tchaikowsky Souvenir de Florence and much more.  Please find all info here!
