Rogowski Concerto premiere in Dubrovnik
It was a great and exciting pleasure to to play the premiere of Ludomir Rogowski’s Violin Concerto, with the Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra under the baton mo Maestro Darrel Ang. Logowski wrote his concerto in the 1950, having left his family in Paris after falling totally in love with Dubrovnik. He stayed there for many decades, and composed this concerto in his last years. The manuscript was lost, the piece forgotten, till it was rediscovered and resurrected for this premiere performance at the Stratum Classic Festival 2019. The piece is colorful and virtuosic, and deserves to be played!
